Come to Wolcott. We have the neatest people there ever was. Remington is the same way.

We wanted to put up a veterans memorial in Wolcott a few years ago. We needed $15,000 and I didn't know how we would raise the funds, but everyone stepped up. These are the most giving and caring people you'd ever meet. That's one of the most rewarding things about living in a community like this. If you need help, you can get it.

To run a successful business, you need a lot of good people working for you. My employees are the best you could ever have. Most have been here for 10, 20 years. They know the people and their situations because in a small community, you just do.

We came up with a real estate mortgage loan to help people start home remodeling and renovation projects. We want to help make our communities more attractive and give people more reasons to be proud of their homes and attract more families to the area.

There is so much underway that is attractive for new businesses too. The Wolcott Corridor is finally becoming a reality and could attract new business and create job growth. We have a lot of hard-working people, who also know how to work together to make things happen. The standard and cost of living is better than large cities but even they are close by. Purdue and Ivy Tech are close by for training.

The economy is tough now but we have the policies and plans in place for good, solid growth. Once the economy recovers, we will see things start moving.
