A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held to celebrate the expanded hours and new location of the Regional Occupational Care Center (ROCC) at 2 North Ohio Street, in Remington. Wendy Schwab, executive director of RWCDC welcomed the expansion into the community and shared that "the vision of Remington Wolcott Community Development is to enhance the quality of life in our communities. One of the ways to do this is to fill the gaps in services needed. ROCC has stepped up to the plate." Dr. Bray explained, "We are excited to be welcomed into a community that has shared their goals and made it a great place for us to to grow". Suzie Sigo, vice president of Remington Town Council spoke on behalf of the council sharing that she "moved back from the city to Remington which is comprised of hard working, faith based, residents. We are loyal to our own and welcome you to our town." Representatives from Regions Bank, Bank of Wolcott, Tri-County School, Remington Main Street organization and area businesses were present and were given a tour of the new facility. The office is open to see patients Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8a-4:30p.
